Who We Are
Founded by Landrum Weathers, a life long farmer and ag-consultant, we bring real world experience to solar development, vegetation management, and agrivoltaics integration. Starting in 2019, Powered Up Pastures was a small, family operated solar vegetation maintenance company. Since its beginnings, Landrum and Powered Up Pastures have expanded to share experiences in both agriculture and the solar industry to assist both industries. Landrum and his family also have first hand knowledge of being landowners in a solar lease which offers a unique perspective into the industry.

Powered Up Pastures connects the solar industry with agriculture. Traditional solar development often overlooks the agricultural potential and other land use opportunities some sites may offer. By connecting agriculture and the solar industry, both can be more productive and regenerative.

Having experience in the solar vegetation maintenance business since 2019, Powered Up Pastures knows first hand what it takes to manage vegetation and can assist with plans, equipment setup, efficiency runs, scheduling, cost analysis, etc.
Landowner and Developer Alignment
Our founder's family has land leased to a large, utility scale solar farm and has first hand knowledge of contract negotiations. His experience with the process offers value ensuring both sides profit and the land prospers for multiple generations.

Site evaluation for developers and potential landowners. As well as cost modeling for vegetation management, grazing, crop integration, etc.
